In today's rapidly changing digital landscape, a comprehensive digital strategy is essential for organizations looking to bring new projects and business opportunities to fruition across geographical boundaries, as well as for maintaining engagement with those interested in the EU and its activities and values.

The EU has recognized the importance of digital strategies and has developed a comprehensive digital agenda that includes a range of initiatives and activities. These include the development of digital infrastructure, the promotion of digital skills and literacy, and the creation of an open, inclusive and competitive digital economy.

One key aspect of the EU's digital strategy is the promotion of digital diplomacy, which aims to strengthen the EU's relations with other countries and regions through the use of digital technologies. This includes the use of social media and other digital platforms to promote dialogue, understanding and cooperation between the EU and other countries, as well as the use of digital tools to support trade and economic growth.

Approach.

The overall objective of the action was to support the achievement of EU in Thailand by strengthening the EU’s activities on social media channels to engage meaningful exchange and communication between primarily Thai citizens and the EU in Thailand but as equal allow citizens of any nationalities understanding EU’s activities within Thailand.

The specific objective of this project was to support a significant growth of EU’s social media channel Facebook in Thailand by providing a social media strategy, involving copywriting services, giving art direction, producing visuals & videos as well as planning strategically on the content to be published.

Social Media Experience.

European Union reached out to Pimclick because of its expertise across the entirety of the digital spectrum. Indeed, in the current generation and rapidly event-changing technology spectrum, a digital strategy plays a crucial part in bringing new projects and business opportunities for an organisation irrespective of geographical boundaries as well as maintaining a touch with the existing clients.

Film Festival.

The overall objective of the video & POS production for the European Union Film Festival is primarily to promote the event itself, but at the same time highlight the various aspects of the European Union and its involvement in public campaigns in Thailand. Essential during this project is to identify and select those channels which are most attractive to the key target group of the event: the Thai audience. Bilingual (English / Thai) localisation plays a major role in order to be able to convey with the critically acclaimed or award-winning films the message to the target audience by using online and offline communication.

The key purpose of the project is to raise awareness about the culture, values, diversity and unique history of the European Union and its member states through screening of contemporary films produced in the European Union. Importantly, as the EUFF is linked to the celebration of the European Year of Cultural Heritage, it must be ensured that this link is well integrated and promoted. A well-established communication between public actors of the EU and its audience must be ensured on all relevant online & offline channels.
