Meet Pimstarter’s Four New Electric Vans in Bangkok
A quieter ride through Asok, four seats together for a meeting in Silom, or space for a pushchair after a long flight. Here’s how to choose a van for your day in Bangkok.

On Sukhumvit Road, approaching the Asok intersection, traffic inches forward and stops again. In an electric van there’s no engine idling at the red light, and when the chauffeur pulls away you can keep talking without raising your voice over the engine. Pimstarter now offers four fully electric vans with a driver for airport arrivals, family outings and days of meetings in Bangkok.[1]
What changes on Bangkok’s streets
After an overnight flight, a quiet cabin can matter as much as legroom. You can still hear the traffic outside, but at low speeds the electric motor adds little noise of its own. Each time the driver slows down, regenerative braking can recover some of the van’s energy and return it to the battery. There are plenty of opportunities for that in stop-and-go city traffic.[4] [2]
There’s another benefit when you step out. Whether the driver pulls up outside a hotel lobby or in a narrow soi, an electric van produces no exhaust fumes at the kerb. The overall environmental footprint also depends on how the vehicle was made and how the electricity used to charge it was generated.[3]
ZEEKR 009 Flagship
The ZEEKR has three rows of two seats. If four colleagues want to talk through a presentation on the way to a meeting in Silom, all four can sit behind the chauffeur. A fifth passenger can take the front seat.[6]

DENZA D9
The electric DENZA D9 carries up to six passengers. Two individual seats in the second row and a bench in the third work well for a family travelling together. The grandparents can have a seat each in the middle row, with the children on the bench behind them.[7]

XPENG X9
The X9’s third row folds down. If there are four of you travelling with a pushchair and large suitcases, the extra luggage space may be worth more than the extra seats. With six passengers on board, the third row needs to stay up, so give the team your bag sizes before booking.[5]
MG MAXUS 9
The MG also takes up to six passengers and has individual seats in the second row. Its sliding side doors come into their own on a day with several stops, when everyone is getting in and out between the hotel, lunch and the last appointment.[8] [9]

From the airport to your hotel
For a pickup at Suvarnabhumi or Don Mueang, “five passengers” tells only half the story. Five people with cabin bags need a different amount of space from five people with large suitcases. Send your flight number, hotel address, passenger count and luggage dimensions. If your plans take you beyond Bangkok for the day, ask whether the route will need a charging stop.
The team will confirm the available model, space for your bags and the price in writing. Explore the electric fleet and request a quote.
